About Us

Quality, Experience & Attention to Detail

Highlands Electric is a modest, owner-operated electrical contractor based in Squamish and Whistler, serving homeowners, builders, architects and designers across the Sea to Sky corridor of British Columbia.

With 17+ years in the trade, we’ve built our business around quality workmanship, efficient service and giving every project the attention it deserves. Our work includes custom homes, renovations, kitchens, lighting and residential and commercial electrical projects.

Small By Choice

We keep our crew modestly sized. This allows us to stay close to the work, keep communication straightforward and give each project the attention it needs.

For builders, architects and designers, that means having a lead electrician they can call on directly to work through the details at a moment’s notice, solve problems, keep the electrical side in check, and keep your project moving throughout the duration and beyond. You’ve got plenty of other things to manage — the electrical shouldn’t be one of them.

For homeowners, it means honest advice, quality workmanship and good value for your investment. Whatever the job, our aim is simple: do it right and leave you confident it’s taken care of.

Built on Trust

We’ve built long-standing relationships with builders, architects and designers across the Sea to Sky Corridor. They’ve worked with us before, know the quality of our work and know they can rely on us to get the electrical side of a project done properly.

We also work directly with homeowners throughout Squamish and Whistler, often through referrals and repeat business.

However you found us, you can expect the same approach: straightforward communication, quality workmanship and attention to detail — from the first call through to the final inspection. We even still receive the odd call from project managers and homeowners for jobs we completed over a decade ago!
